As a Writer/Producer on BET’s Hip Hop 50th Anniversary campaign, I helped shape the voice and vision of a historic, multi-platform tribute to the culture. I crafted on - camera interview questions as well as coded and co-conducted several interviews with hip hop icons old and new - including Lola Brooke, Ice Spice, Rakim, MC Lyte, N.O.R.E., T.I., Young Jeezy, Master P, and Jermaine Dupri. My creative input extended into the visual tone of the campaign, and I wrote and produced a variety of short-form promos and social-first content that celebrated the genre’s legacy and impact. I also served as Associate Producer on the long-form documentary BET Presents: For the Love of Hip Hop, supporting the project whenever possible from development through delivery and helping ensure the storytelling remained authentic and resonant.
